Ground Screws
Ground screws offer a fast and effective way to create foundations for a POD, Garden Studio, Granny Annex or Modular building.
Professional supply and installation company is advised. We have on occasion had to change or combine systems in the past, so soil condition and pullout test is recommended.
Not all products are the same even though they seem like it on paper and in the flesh. Thicknesses of the galvanised layer can vary too which limits usage.
Passive Reinforced Raft System
Modular Offsite Insulation system with Rebar(Basalt Available)mesh. U-Values of 0.11 are achievable, airtightness and reduced thermal bridging. Specifically designed for lightweight wall systems where ground conditions are not ideal for footings. Great Thermal Mass storage.
Alloy Mini Piles
We can offer NHBC approved LGS/Timber suspended floor and alloy pile solutions. This is a concrete-free option(reversible) that is versatile and useful for difficult to access sites(through a house)or very sloping sites.
Pad Foundations
Numerous Commercial and Residential projects over the years and prefer to use a recycled wire and plastic 3rd party approved system. Ideal if existing pipework under tarmac and on hard standing; shallow footing and adjustable.
